Andy Richards, CPC, TRLC, CTSS, is a certified professional coach, Internal Family Systems practitioner and trauma-informed advocate. She helps people come home to themselves by guiding them in cultivating more curiosity and compassion into their inner worlds. She’s passionate about demystifying trauma and the ways we heal and grow into sustainable rhythms in life.
Andy’s journey to coaching began when she stepped into the role of home educator for her two daughters. Empowering them to slow down and blur the lines between life and learning, she saw them chase their curiosities, discover truth, and grow holistically. These lived experiences serve as the foundation of Andy’s contemplative approach to her life and work.
Andy is the executive director of a resident summer camp in California for children in foster care. She stewards their vision for every child to experience unconditional love, hope and safety. Using Trust-Based Relational Intervention methods, she helps train and mentor a team of over 70 volunteers in creating life-changing moments with their campers. Her focus is on helping both volunteers and campers realize their full potential, healing, and purpose in the world.
