Tahreem Umer is a trauma-informed clinical psychologist with over four years of experience supporting individuals through complex trauma and addiction. As the Head of Therapy at Trauma Release and Wellness Centre, she leads the clinical vision with a strong foundation in the Sanctuary Model, SAMHSA’s trauma-informed principles, and salutogenic approaches that emphasize resilience, coherence, and holistic healing.
She is an accredited EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) practitioner, trained through EMDR Asia, and is currently training to become a certified TRE (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises) provider. In addition, she is undergoing formal supervision training to support the development of therapists in a reflective, relational, and emotionally safe manner.
Passionate about continuous learning, Tahreem actively integrates emerging theories and practices into her work—creating dynamic, trauma-informed environments where both clients and clinicians can grow and thrive.
She views healing as a sacred and transformative journey, where the therapeutic process becomes a space for spiritual reconnection, inner alignment, and the restoration of one’s true self.
