Wee Sin Teck is a Senior Counsellor from Singapore and a dedicated member of the Arizona Trauma Institute Clinical Board. With over 15 years of experience in community counselling, family services & medical social work. He brings a deep commitment to trauma-informed care and authentic therapeutic connection.

Sin Teck holds registration as a Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor (C0464) with the Singapore Association for Counselling, as well as registration as a Social Worker and Supervisor (RSW-3127) with Singapore Association of Social Workers. He is an Advanced Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist (ACCTSI) with the Trauma Institute International and a certified Transactional Analysis Practitioner. His clinical foundation is further strengthened by trainings in a range of modalities including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Couples Therapy, Satir Family Therapy, Choice Theory and Reality Therapy (CTRT), Chair work, and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT).

In his current leadership role, Sin Teck oversees the clinical development of counsellors and trainees from tertiary institutions such as James Cook University (JCU) and ECTA. His passion for supervision led him to develop an innovative framework, the Reflective Weight Calibration Model (RWCM), which draws on principles of machine learning to illuminate the processes of reflection, intuition, and professional growth in practitioners.

His clinical insights are profoundly shaped by his roles as a father and husband, deepening his empathic understanding of family dynamics and human relationships. This personal reflection extends to his clinical innovations, including the development of Reflex-Oriented Progressive Relaxation (ROPR). Inspired by observing newborn reflexes, this gentle relaxation technique integrates somatic principles to help clients release tension.

Sin Teck is dedicated to creating a space of authenticity where clients and supervisees alike can safely explore their inner worlds. He strives to integrate holistic, trauma-sensitive practices into his work, supporting growth in both the individuals he counsels and the professionals he mentors.
