The Arizona Trauma Institute, a regional training and consulting organization, is pleased to announce that we will be working collaboratively the Department of Child Safety to train staff and support the creation of a more trauma sensitive system. This collaboration is part of DCS Director Greg McKay’s desire that “Arizona will become the safest place in the country for children to grow and thrive”. Arizona Trauma Institute is working to help DCS meet that desire, and will be working to enhance and encourage positive changes in this system of care to help move toward that end.
